Rishikesh Ganga Aarti

Everyone is welcome to attend the Ganga Aarti. Do arrive early if you want to get a seat on the steps close to the action. It can be difficult to see otherwise. Shoes must be removed but you can securely store them for free at the entrance.

Lakshman Jhula

Lakshman Jhula, a very long of about 450 ft Iron Bridge suspended over the mighty Ganges River, is constructed in the year 1939. It is situated nearby to Swarga Ashram in Rishikesh. There is a Lakshmana temple located at the west bank of Ganges, revealing the deed act of Lakshmana. The bridge attracts many tourists not only because of its legendary story, but due the number of temples and ashrams scattered around the bridge.

Bharat Mandir

Bharat Mandir, an ancient temple founded by Adiguru Shankaracharya during the 12th century, is an imposing shrine located in the heart of the city Rishikesh. The main deity installed here is of Lord Vishnu, the idol is being carved out from a single piece of Saligram. A spectacular sacred Shree Yanthra is placed at the inner canopy of the temple.

Triveni Ghat

Triveni Ghat - This is a bathing ghat. Daily in the morning and evening there are thousands who take bath here and enjoy the Maha Aarti being performed. Devotees make many offerings at Triveni ghat, in the early morning at sunrise they offer milk to the river and happily feed the fish in the Ghat. An impressive view of lamps floated in the river as part of aarti ceremony is pleasing to eyes after the sunset. Swarg Ashram

Swarg Ashram, Shri 108 Baba Sali Kamli Wale Swami Atam Prakash Ji. Swargashram ( Heavenly Adobe) as the name connotes is a beautiful place situated in picturesque surroundings at the foot of Himalayas on the left bank of the Ganges between Rishikesh and Laxmanjhula. It is the spiritual “ground zero” of Rishikesh, filled with a concentration of ashrams and temples.
